Case Study · Drone Photography & Mapping
Concho Valley Aeriala website that shows the work from every angle.
A fast, custom multi-page site for an FAA-certified drone photography and mapping business serving San Angelo and West Texas.
conchovalleyaerial.com — built and maintained by Concho Catalyst.
The Business
Aerial work is visual. The site had to prove it.
Concho Valley Aerial is an FAA Part 107 certified drone operation offering three distinct services: real estate photography and video, aerial mapping and photogrammetry, and construction monitoring. That's a lot to communicate, because a rancher listing acreage and a developer needing an orthomosaic map are looking for very different things.
The site needed to do three jobs at once: showcase the visual work convincingly, explain each service clearly so the right client self-selects, and make requesting a quote effortless, all while covering a service area that spans most of West Texas.
What I Built
A full marketing site, not a single page.
Every section earns its place: show the work, explain the services, prove the coverage, and capture the lead.
Service Clarity
Real estate, mapping and photogrammetry, and construction monitoring each get their own clear breakdown, so a visitor lands on the one that fits.
Visual Portfolio
A featured-work section and full gallery built to let the aerial imagery carry the pitch, because for this business the photos are the sales tool.
Local Authority
A West Texas service-area section and an insights section with articles, signaling to both customers and Google that this is an established local operator.
Quote Capture
Clear "request a quote" paths throughout, so an interested visitor never has to hunt for how to start a project.
How It's Built
Image-heavy, but still quick.
A drone photography site lives and dies on its imagery, which usually means a slow, heavy website. This one stays light: it's hand-built rather than assembled from a page-builder, so it loads fast on a phone in the field and stays well under a megabyte despite being image-forward.
- Custom-built, no templates or page-builder bloat
- Fast and lightweight despite heavy imagery
- Mobile-responsive for on-site and on-the-go viewing
- On-page SEO plus an insights section for local search
- The client owns the site and domain outright, with no monthly fee
